I am Dr. Clodagh Ryan. Originally hailing from Northern Ireland, a part of the UK, but culturally aligning with Ireland, my childhood healthcare was overseen by the UK NHS system.

My journey into medicine began at the age of 18, which is customary in both the UK and Ireland. I opted to pursue my medical education within the Irish healthcare system and embarked on a six-year academic adventure at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland. Afterward, I completed a year-long internship at St. James Hospital in Dublin. For the subsequent three years, I immersed myself in the world of Irish traditional music, touring globally and recording alongside my bandmates.

 

During my musical pursuits, I also moonlighted as a locum physician during my downtime. This dual role had me operating as a self-employed professional, responsible for managing my taxes. This unique experience primed me for the flexible realm of Direct Primary Care.
